In Japan many cosplayers have homepages that they post thier cosplay information and costumes on.
Then at events they give out cosplay business cards to other cosplayers with thier site's URL on it.
Originaly I coppied the idea to fit in better with the Japanese cosplay scene, but have since then changed the focus of the site a little. As cosplayers we have our picture taken quite a bit at events, but almost never see our own photos. There are hundreds of our pictures floating around, but the only event pictures we have are the ones we got a friend or stranger to take of us with our own camera. So I decided to added sections to my cosplay homepage for cosplayers to get coppies of thier pictures that I took at an event. I'm also more than glad to take someone's picture with thier own camera if they would like.
